Hairpin Leg Coffee Table in a Day
We needed a new coffee table but wanted something that would be quick to design and build. I bought a beautiful old mantle from the Habitat ReStore, stripped off the support boards, cut it to size and screwed on some hairpin legs from Hawthorne Vintage. BOOM - coffee table in a day. I left the nail holes and beat-up surface because my wife and I like that imperfect, worn look.
